Caolan Loughran Booked For UFC London

Ireland’s own Caolan Loughran (9-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) has an opponent for the upcoming UFC Fight Night event at the 02 Arena in Lonodn, England.

Tyrone bantamweight Loughran will square off against fellow Cage Warriors alumni Nathan Fletcher (9-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) on March 22nd and will be eager to get back to winning ways after mixed results in 2024.

“The Don” rebounded from losing the opening fight of his UFC career late in 2023 by picking up his first victory inside the Octagon last March in Atlantic City when he beat Angel Pacheco by unanimous decision. He was in action again at UFC 304 in Manchester, England but suffered his second defeat under the UFC banner at the hands of Jake Hadley.

Former Cage Warriors champion Loughran gets his chance at redemtion when he takes on Next Generation Liverpool’s Fletcher, who recently won his UFC debut at the UFC Apex when he submitted Žygimantas Ramaška.

27-year-old Fletcher is a real threat once the fight hits the canvas and seven of his nine professional victories have come by way of submission.

Ireland’s Shauna Bannon (6-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) has already been confirmed for UFC London, where she will take on Puja Tomar (9-4 MMA, 1-0 UFC).
