This Saturday’s UFC on FOX 7 card has been dealt a blow this evening with news of Norman Parke vs Jon Tuck being pulled from the card due to an undisclosed injury to Tuck.

Norman made his UFC debut back in December 2012 as he won The Ultimate Fighter: Smashes, defeating Colin ‘Freakshow’ Fletcher by unanimous decision.

Due to the late timing of the injury, sources close to the event told MMAJunkie that the UFC would not be searching for replacements.

Norman provided an update via his Facebook

“My fight next Saturday night has been cancelled due to my opponent getting injured. It sucks but I believe this is meant to happen, it’s all part of the long successful journey I’m goin to have. This was the best Iv ever felt for any bout, diet, weight cut and training was all on time. I will be out again soon. I will be in San Jose to watch the fight tho so will be a good night. Come say hi if your about. X”

UFC on FOX 7 goes down this Saturday and features champion Benson Henderson taking on Gilbert Melendez for lightweight title, Nate Diaz vs Josh Thomson aswell as Daniel Cormier making his UFC debut vs former champion Frank Mir.
