Kenny Florian to be announced as Jon Anik’s partner for UFC’s ‘B’ shows

It is being reported that former TUF 1 contestant Kenny Florian has been chosen by the UFC to head up their ‘B’ broadcast team alongside former ESPN MMA Live presenter Jon Anik.

Reports claim that Frank Mir, Stephan Bonnar and Rich Franklin were also considered and may still be used in the future.

‘Ken Flo’ recently hinted he has been considering retirement due to back injuries but this announcement doesn’t necessarily mean we won’t see Kenny back in the Octagon .

Florian is no stranger to the commentary booth, having filled in for Joe Rogan as recently as UFC RIO last August.

“It’s really a vision I had since we started working on ‘MMA Live’ together – that’d we’d be calling UFC fights together,” Anik said.

“I just really think he’s such a natural at it, and he’s got a gift of simplifying things. … He’s going to make my life much easier.”
