Cage Contender 12 Breakdown: McGuigan vs Edgeworth

BANTAMWEIGHT: Neil McGuigan (EFR) v Richie Edgeworth (Team Ryano)

Englishman Neil McGuigan is coming off 2 bouts with unbeaten Irishman Patrick “The Hooligan” Holohan.

In their first bout, in February 2011, Holohan and McGuigan fought to a decision draw, the only blemish on Holohan’s 7-0-1 pro record.

For Richie Edgeworth of Team Ryano, this will be the second McGuigan he has faced. At Man Of War II he took on Barry McGuigan of Antrim MMA Club and won via spinning back elbow followed by hammerfists from side control.

It promise to be a career best victory for whoever comes out on top
