Anderson Silva not likely to fight again until “the end of next year”

UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva is apparently not interested in fighting Georges St. Pierre any time soon.

Many speculated that Silva was attending UFC 154 this weekend in order to come in and challenge GSP if he beat Carlos Condit, but according to Silva in an interview with Tatame, that’s not the case at all.

And he’s not even planning on fighting any time soon:

“I’m on vacation for the fight. I think we just come back at the end of next year … I’m going to Los Angeles and then going to Canada for the fight of St. Pierre. I’m already going to be there to shoot a movie, a feature film that I’ll participate in with Lyoto (Machida). It’s not my character to up and challenge anyone. I think it will not happen. I think not, I’m sure (laughs).”

Silva currently has two fights left on his UFC contract. Many are focusing on the fact that a possible GSP/Silva fight would be delayed because of this, but what about the middleweight title?
