Cage Warriors 50 will take place at the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow on Saturday night, with nine professional fights down for decision.

The event, will be Cage Warriors’ 11th of the year, will be headlined by the meeting of rising US star Brandon Hempleman (8-1) and home favourite Paul McVeigh (18-7, pictured) at a 130lbs catchweight, which will be the 100th professional Cage Warriors bout of 2012.

Also featuring the likes of Wilson Reis, Aaron Wilkinson and Denniston Sutherland, the Cage Warriors 50 main card will stream live on MMA Junkie this Saturday night at 9pm (UK).

In contrast to recent events, the stream will be available to viewers in the UK and Ireland, which has previously been prevented by the terms of Cage Warriors’ broadcast deal with Sky Sports.

Cage Warriors CEO Graham Boylan has reached an agreement with Sky which will allow CWFC fans worldwide to tune in to Saturday’s free live stream.

“We believe we have an excellent product here at Cage Warriors and we want people all over the world to be able to tune in and enjoy it free of charge,” said Boylan.

“Due to circumstances beyond our control, viewers in Ireland and the UK haven’t been able to do so lately but we’re delighted to have been able to change that for this weekend.

“We’ve had to incur some expense in order to do that but it’s a worthwhile investment to ensure that the Cage Warriors fans who can’t make it to the show can enjoy what’s set to be another superb event from the comfort of their homes.”

Tickets for Cage Warriors 50 will be available to buy online from CageWarriors.com until midday on Thursday, December 6. Subject to availability, tickets will be available to buy at the venue on Saturday.

Doors open at 6pm, with the first amateur undercard bout scheduled to begin at 7pm.
