After admitting he was looking forward to seeing the viewing numbers for his fight against Dennis Siver on Saturday, Conor McGregor will be a happy man today as reports from America detail just how big a draw he has become. Reports coming from Fox say McGregor drew 2.751 million viewers, beating the previous highest rated show by a million viewers.

It was not only the biggest TV MMA event of the last few years, it was the biggest since 2009.

The good news is this signifies the absolute certainty of how big Conor McGregor is, the bad news is he is likely to be on pay-per-view and fighting on foreign soil for the foreseeable future.
