So you think UFC 194 can’t get any better? Well that’s where you’re wrong because today another huge fight has been added to the already stacked card as middleweight powerhouses Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza and Yoel Romero meet in a bout likely to decide the next title challenger at 185 lbs. The news was first reported by Reviewjournal.com

A former Strikeforce champion, Souza has had a successful, although up and down, time in his UFC career to date and will be looking to earn a title shot having already beaten the likes of Chris Camozzi, Gegard Mousasi and Yushin Okami in the middle of a host of injuries.

Although Romero also transitioned over from the new defunct San Jose based MMA promotion he had plenty of improving to do having plied his trade in MMA up until that point using mostly his Olympic wrestling as a go-to area. Now, Romero is extremely well-round and with wins over Tim Kennedy and Lyoto Machida he has proven to have what it takes to hang around the top.

The fight is sure to be a classic and with Chris Weidman vs. Luke Rockhold and Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor supporting it we’re in for a magnificent night of fist fights.
