BAMMA 25 from Birmingham, England will stream live on Sherdog.com features two title fights at the top of the card. In the main event, featherweight champion Tom Duquesnoy is challenging bantamweight champion Shay Walsh for the title. Duquesnoy has an 11-1 record in his four years as a professional MMA fighter. He has a background in Combat Sambo which has given him a very well rounded game for his age and experience. He dropped down to bantamweight in his last fight which was a first round KO against Damien Rooney in Dublin. There isn’t too many fights left on his BAMMA contract and he could have a UFC contract before the end of the year. Walsh has a 14-3 record and is the only man to beat Saul Rogers. He is currently on a four fight winning streak with his latest win coming against Ed Arthur to win the bantamweight title.

In the co-main event, Martin Stapleton will defend his lightweight title against Damien Lapilus. Stapleton competed on the Ultimate Fighter and also had a stint in Bellator. Since being released he has won four straight, his most recent win coming in a BAMMA title fight against Gavin Sherritt. Damien Lapilus was the unfortunate man on the receiving end of Joe Duffy’s MMA comeback, but since that defeat he is 4-1 with a win against future Jack McGann opponent Paul Redmond in his last fight.

This should have been the final at Dynamite as King Mo beat Linton Vassell that night but could not continue due to injury but now it will happen.

Saad Awad steps up to welterweight to take on Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos in the co-main event.. Awad just couldn’t crack the top of the Bellator lightweight division with defeats to Will Brooks and Patricky Freire.
