John Redmond vs Leeroy Barnes set for CW Unplugged on 12th November

Moments ago Cage Warriors owner Graham Boylan revealed the first match up for the promotions BT Sport studio show ‘CW Unplugged’ which will serve as the lead in to UFC 205 on 12th November.

Irish MMA veteran John “Johnny Jitsu” Redmond will take on UK MMA veteran Leeroy Barnes.

Redmond is 7-12 as a professional having won 2 of his last 3 bouts, both by knockout.

Barnes is 15-16-1 and has defeated 3 of his last 4 opponents by choke submissions, dropping his latest bout to the always tough Victor Cheng via a decision.

It has already been revealed that both Paddy Pimblett and Chris Fishgold will also be on the card but their opponents have yet to be revealed.
