Shock N Awe 25: Kerr vs Larchet – Live Coverage

Shock N Awe return to the Pyramid Centre in Portsmouth for ‘SNA 25.’ The card is headlined by a Welterweight title fight between Thibaud Larchet and Andy Kerr. Dillin West who last competed at Rizin 4, also makes his return to the cage.

Larchet ends the fight early after landing some vicious strikes. Stunning the crowd.
Larchet wins via TKO from strikes @ 1:50 seconds of 1st round.

Gracjan Bak – Chris Tallis – Pro MMA
R1: Fun opening round here between these two, both trading some really heavy strikes.

R2: Bak controls the majority of the 2nd round in the clinch. However doesn’t manage to advance much from it. Ref warning about staying busy.

R3: A really entertaining striking battle between these two in the 3rd and final. Bak being more succesful and close to finishing the fight once or twice.

Gracjan Bak defeats Chris Tallis via split decision – (29-28, 29-28, 28-29)

Nicholas Ott vs Ethan Charlesworth –  Pro MMA
R1: Entertaining opener that was largely spent on the ground, difficult to score.

R2:  More of the same here, fight largely spent on the ground, however Ott is starting to take more control of the fight. Managing to outwork Charlesworth, although he’s not doing much once gaining control of the ground-game.

R3: Repeat of what I’ve been saying really, fight again largely spent in the clinch/ground, much better round for Charlesworth. Not sure it’s enough for a win though.

Aaron Lalaye vs Dillin West – Pro MMA
R1: Crazy end to the 1st round between the pair. Lalaye landed a takedown and very nearly finished fight with elbows. Buzzer saved West. Lot’s of clinch-work between the two for the rest of the round.

R2: More grappling in which Lalaye looked fairly dominant for, however West secured an impressive armbar submission to take the win from his back.

Dillin West defeats Aaron Lalaye via submission with an armbar in the 2nd round.

Steven Hill defeats Matt Peacock via rear-naked choke at 1:40 of the 2nd round.

Liudvikas Maciulevicus vs Elliot Hoye – Amateur MMA
Liudvikas Maciulevicus defeats Elliot Hoye via submission with a triangle choke at 1:49 of the 1st round.
