Quick Picks – UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs Pettis

The UFC heads to Norfolk, Virginia this Saturday after a rush of MMA over the last week.

With UFC 217 still fresh in people’s minds, the MMA leader puts on another really good card with name fighters throughout. Former champion Anthony Pettis headlines against Dustin Poirier in a card littered with fun match-ups.

Here are my picks for the event.

Main Card

Lightweight – Dustin Poirier vs. Anthony Pettis – I think Anthony Pettis clips him and gets the TKO.

Welterweight – Matt Brown vs. Diego Sanchez – Matt Brown is bigger and less shopworn so he should win.

Middleweight – Nate Marquardt vs. Cezar Ferreira – Cezar Ferraira to win

Bantamweight – Raphael Assuncao vs. Matthew Lopez – Raphael Assuncao to win

Lightweight – Joe Lauzon vs. Clay Guida – Joe Lauzon to win
