Fitzpatrick vs Jacobsen, Ventre vs McBain, Wolf vs Kenny & Stanton vs Bonner added to CWFC 90

[Press Release] Cage Warriors’ Liverpool fanbase are known for raising the roof off the Echo Arena for their hometown fighters, and CW90 looks to be no different.

First to be announced in a new wave of pro preliminary bouts is a Lightweight contest between Lawrence Fitzpatrick (6-1), who’s 6 wins have all come within the distance, and Norwegian knockout artist Alexander Jacobsen (8-2), a seriously dangerous contender with an 88% finish rate. After losing to Liverpool’s Chris Fishgold at CW88, Jacobsen will look to return to the Echo Arena and get back to winning ways. Fitzpatrick, who will fight in front of thousands of home town supporters, will have other ideas.

Also announced on the card are Shawn Kenny (3-0) and Adam Ventre (5-3), both fighting out of Next Generation MMA in Liverpool. Kenny, a dangerous heavyweight with serious power, will face an experienced German opponent in Ruben Wolf (11-10) and will look to continue his streak of impressive finishes. Ventre, a fan favourite and long-time teammate of ex-CW World Champion Paddy Pimblett, will also be looking to pick up the home town win against Scotland’s Paul McBain (5-0).

Liverpool Welterweight Mick Stanton (3-1) will also feature on the card after a convincing win over Josh McManus at CW88, and comes up against Matthew Bonner (2-3). McManus (1-1), also fighting at CW90, will look to put himself back in the win column by defeating Wales’ Bobby Pallett (2-0).

The CW90 Main Card is also beginning to take shape, with Molly McCann fighting for the World Flyweight Title, Middleweight Champion Lee Chadwick defending his belt and hometown hero Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett making his long-awaited return to the octagon.
