Well, Here’s the Good News

It’s not all doom and gloom in the MMA world. Some members of the MMA community have been doing some great things and announcing exciting personal news. Huge congratulations to UFC double champion Amanda Nunes and her wife, UFC strawweight Nina Ansaroff. They celebrated the birth of their daughter last week.

Top-ten UFC strawweight competitor Lauren Murphy is using the proceeds from her merchandise to help out a local women’s centre in Houston, Texas.

While his teammates were tearing it up at Cage Warriors over the weekend, Joe McGolgan was tearing it up at the altar. Congratulations to Joe and to his new wife Caitlin on their marriage!

Dad to be Dean Barry fought over at UAE Warriors 13 last Thursday, the Dubliner went on to win the fight by knockout. Before the bout, at the weigh-ins his opponent, Abdulla Al Bousheiri offered Barry a gift in what was a very kind gesture.

Dad Cerrone and Dad Price locked horns after they fought to a draw at UFC Fight Night 178. The only argument that went down was who was the better Dad. A nice moment between the two.
