UFC Fight Night: Vettori vs Holland Live Results

Marvin Vettori takes on Kevin Holland in the main event on UFC on ABC 2 on Saturday night. UK’s own Arnold Allen will compete against Sodiq Yusuff in the evenings co-main event which will be held at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

Marvin Vettori made it five wins in a row when he was awarded a unanimous decision over Kevin Holland. Vettori had weather the early storm that Holland brought but took over and dominated the fight. The maintained his status in the top of the middleweight rankings.

Arnold Allen knocked down Sodiq Yusuff in round one and round two of their lightweight co-main event. Yusuff battled back in round three, but it wasn’t enough as the Englishman picked up a unanimous decision victory.

Julian Marquez locked in a rear naked choke on Sam Alvey in round two of their middleweight encounter.

Mackenzie Dern looked absolutely fantastic when she picked up a first round armbar victory. The strawweight defeated Nina Nunes and moved herself up the rankings, she called for a top 5 opponent in her next fight in her post fight interview.

Mike Perry and Daniel Rodriguez fought all three round to open up the main card. Rodriguez got his hands raised and took home the unanimous decision victory.

Joe Solecki overcame UFC veteran Jim Miller via unanimous decision in the 155-pound division.

Mateusz Gamrot got a hold of his first UFC win when he knocked out Scott Holtzman, it what was a fantastic performance overall from the Polish lightweight.

John Makdessi and Ignacio Bahamondes fought in and absolute war in the lightweight division. Makdessi won the fight by unanimous decision.

Jarjis Danho put Yorgan De Castro to sleep with a huge overhand right to end the fight in the very first round. “Man Mountain” picked up his first UFC win in the process.

Jack Shore remained undefeated and moved to 14-0 after his win over Hunter Azure in the bantamweight division. The Welshman and Azure went all three rounds with Shore getting the nod from two out of the three judges.

Luis Saldaña was saved by the bell in round two of his UFC featherweight debut against Jordan Griffin. Saldaña held ona got the win on all the judges scorecards.

Da Un Jung took home an easy decision over William Knight to make it 13 wins in a row for the Korean light heavyweight.

Impa Kasanganay returned to the win column when he submitted Sasha Palatnikov in round two in the 170-pound division.
