Well, Here’s the Good News

It’s not all doom and gloom in the MMA world. Some members of the MMA community have been doing some great things and announcing exciting personal news. It’s important to stay positive, and I’m here to help you achieve that goal. We have decided to help keep that positivity flowing the best that we can. Nothing but good news for you to feast your eyes on.

UFC broadcaster John Gooden walked 90 miles to help raise funds for Young Minds UK, and he’s got the blisters to prove it. The organisation is the UK’s leading mental health charity for young people.

Team KF are holding their third annual fundraiser in support of the Jigsaw foundation in Ireland. The fundraiser was set up in memory of Darragh Lawless. Jigsaw is a free mental health support service for young people in Ireland aged 12-25.

BJJ practitioner Kevin Docherty has set up a ‘Go Fund Me’ account to help out some underprivileged kids in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The funds raised will help the community purchase Gi’s for the 127 kids that practice Judo/BJJ in Kinshasa.

Brendan Loughnane, who is preparing for his upcoming PFL fight with Sheymon Moraes next week, made sure his fellow PFL competitor Mikhil Odinstov was being looked after ahead of his fight. Classy gesture from the Manchester man.
