Undefeated Irishman Caolan Loughran is set to compete against Hussein Abbas-Zade in a featherweight matchup on 25th July at LFL 2, a behind closed doors event in Amsterdam. Severe MMA confirmed the bout with promotion officials and sources close to Loughran’s camp.

“Don” Loughran trains out of Team Kaobon in Liverpool, alongside UFC star Darren Till. The Tyrone native boasts an unblemished 3-0 pro record, and will make the jump from bantamweight up to the 145-pound ranks when he takes on Azerbaijan-born Norwegian Abbas-Zade. “The Scorpion” is a BJJ brown belt and former Abu Dhabi World Pro champion, and the fight against Loughran will serve as his MMA debut.

LFL 2 will also see the MMA debut of former Glory Kickboxing champion Jason Wilnis (who holds wins over Israel Adesanya, Alex Pereira, & Joe Schilling). Wilnis faces Nicolas Dalby teammate Erhan Okuroglu (1-1) in a middleweight matchup.
