Shauna ”Mama B” Bannon (0-0) vs. Kerry Isom (1-1) is being targeted for the main event slot at Cage Legacy 15 on April 9th multiple sources have confirmed to SevereMMA.com.

The Team Holohan Martial Art’s standout would have the opportunity to win her first professional title when she takes on UK based fighter Isom at the first Cage Legacy event of 2022. The main event slot has yet to be officially confirmed by Irish based promotion but it is believed that it will take place for the strawweight title which will take place over 3×5 minute rounds.

Bannon, who won the SevereMMA Irish Amateur Fighter Of The Year in 2021, had massively successful amatuer career year as she picked up a gold medal at the Senior IMMAF World Cup last September. Bannon carried that momentum into her next and picked up her first amateur title when she finished Shanelle Dyer in the Cage Legacy 14 main event in December. The strawweight prospect will look to do the same at Cage Legacy 15 as she is potentially set to fight for her first professional title.

Her opponent, Kerry Isom, is based out Phoenix MMA Gym in Bournemouth, she moved over to the professional ranks in 2021 after going 8-2 as an amatuer. Isom fell short in her professional debut Dakota Ditcheva but bounced back with an impressive win in her second fight against Levi Steedman at Budo Fighting Championship 46.

Cage Legacy 15 is set to take place at the Pillo Hotel in Ashbourne on April 9th and will be available on a PPV stream. Stay tuned to SevereMMA for further updates on the card.
