Danni McCormack Inks Multi-Fight Deal with Invicta FC

SevereMMA can confirm that Danni McCormack (5-2) has signed a multi fight deal with Invicta FC. The SBGHQ Strawweight fighter will make her debut next month at Invicta FC 50 which is set to take place on November 16. Her opponent will be announced in the coming days by the promotion.

Invicta Fighting Championships is the world’s largest, all-women’s mixed martial arts organization. McCormack spoke to SevereMMA of her delight with signing to a multi-fight deal with the Shannon Knapp led promotion.

“I’m really excited about it”, said McCormack about the signing.

“After a great run in Bellator, I can now focus on being in a promotion with a strawweight division against top level opposition. This opportunity also gives me the chance to fight for a title and of course another stepping stone to getting into the UFC.”

“I’m over the moon!”

McCormack, who took home a silver medal at the 2017 IMMAF, moved to the professional ranks in 2019. The 32-year old went 3-0 in Bellator with wins over Camila Rivarola, Chiara Penco and Claire Lopez. McCormack took on Katharina Dalisda at NFC 4 where she picked up a unanimous decision win over her German rival.

McCormack moved back into the Bellator cage to take on Audrey Kerouche where she picked up the first TKO stoppage of her career. Recent defeats against Stéphanie Page and Manuela Marconetto halted McCormavk progression but the Roscommon native will look to get back to winning ways under the Invicta FC banner.
