Kenny Mokhonoana vs Craig McIntosh Set For Bellator Dublin

A featherweight matchup between Ireland’s Kenny Mokhonoana (4-0) and Scotland’s Craig McIntosh (3-4) is slated for Bellator Dublin on Friday 24th February. Sources confirmed the news to SevereMMA.com on Wednesday afternoon.

Mokhonoana got off to an electric start to his Bellator tenure with a first-round submission over Alex Bodnar in his promotional debut at Bellator 285 earlier this year. The win in front of his hometown Dublin crowd propelled “Black Diamond” to 4-0, extending his 100% submission rate as a pro.

McIntosh has historically trained out of Higher Level Martial Arts, and is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under coach James Doolan. In recent years, “Mop” has been more active in grappling competition than MMA. McIntosh returned to MMA after a 5-year hiatus in 2021, losing via 4th-round stoppage to Hascen Neri Gelezi in the main event of Olympus Fight Series’ inaugural event. He has not fought since.

Mokhonoana vs McIntosh is the latest in a growing number of bouts matched for the Dublin show. A featherweight number-one contender showdown between Pedro Carvalho and Jeremy Kennedy is slated to take place, pending final signatures, Karl Moore and Maciej Różański are set to thrown down in the light heavyweight division, Sinéad Kavanagh returns from injury to rematch Janay Harding, and Richie Smullen returns to Bellator to face Piotr Niedzielski.
