Cian Cowley vs Daniel Sanchez Vasquez set for Combate Global: Ireland vs Mexico

Sources close to the fight have revealed to SevereMMA that Irishman Cian Cowley (5-5) will face Mexico’s Daniel Sanchez Vazquez (5-2) in a welterweight bout at Combate Global: Ireland vs Mexico.

Cowley is riding a 3 fight win streak, with all three victories coming by TKO inside two rounds, since returning from a 18 month break.

Vasquez has won his last two outings, most recently defeating Tyler Escoto with a first round knee bar in August.

Also on the card, Ireland’s Pa Lehane (5-2) has already been announced as set to face Mexican Roberto Romero Hernandez (7-2-1) who is undefeated in six fights with Combate Global.

Combate Global: Ireland vs Mexico is set to take place in Miami, Florida on 17th December 2023.
