UFC 290 – Severe MMA Staff Predictions

International Fight Week is upon us, and with 10 nationalities represented at UFC 290, the bookings seem fitting.

In the main event, Australian featherweight king Alexander “The Great” Volkanovski returns from a brief stint at lightweight to defend his 145lbs throne against Mexican challenger Yair “El Pantera” Rodriguez. In the co-main event

The co-main event sees Mexico’s flyweight champion Brandon “The Assassin Baby” Moreno looks to finally surmount the challenge of Brazilian Alexandre “The Cannibal” Pantoja, who has already beaten the now champion not once, but twice.

Anyway, enough from me. Here are our picks. “The Geordie Juggernaut” Jake Smith is in the lead for 2023, but there’s a whole lot of fights still to pick this year!
